Privacy Policy

Leo ("the app", "we") is an affirmation-powered app-locking app for iOS. This policy explains what data Leo handles and — more importantly — what it never touches. The short version: your data lives on your phone, and we can't see it.
Screen Time & app blocking
- We do not collect, receive, store, or transmit any information about which apps you use, block, or open.
- Apple's framework is designed so that even Leo itself cannot read your app usage — app selections are opaque tokens.
- Screen Time data is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or sold to anyone, and is never shared with third parties.
Your affirmations, name, and progress
- Affirmations you write, your name or nickname, lock rules, streaks, and daily progress are stored only on your device.
- Leo has no accounts and no server that stores your personal content. We cannot read your affirmations.
- Your name and affirmation text are never included in analytics.
Anonymous analytics
To improve the app, Leo collects anonymous usage events through Google Firebase (for example: "onboarding step 3 viewed", "typing session completed"). These events contain no name, no affirmation text, no app-usage information, and no advertising identifiers. Firebase Remote Config is used to update onboarding content. You can read Google's practices in the Firebase Privacy documentation.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Enabling them is optional, and you can turn them off anytime in Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details.
Children
Leo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
