Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Leo iOS application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What Leo is

Leo helps you build an affirmation habit and reduce distracting app use by placing an affirmation step in front of apps you choose to lock. Leo is a self-improvement tool — it is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and results depend on your own use.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Subscriptions

• Some features require a paid auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly), which may include a free trial.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

4. Your content

Affirmations you write remain yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for the content you write in the app.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in violation of applicable law or Apple's terms.

6. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. App blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time framework and device settings; we do not guarantee that blocking is uninterruptible or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
